Taking Babysteps'
Hey, its been a week! :)
So this week was a really fruitful week for me, packed with activities, and just full of productive stuffs.
First was a Monday, I had dance per normal. Dance was alright but i guess i was also shag after that as usual. Then, i had to get a $1.20 ice cream with my woman. I mean i can never compare $1.20 cup of ice cream with a $6.50 cup of ice cream in terms of quality. But if you ask me which can makes me happier after eating it, i will definitely say its the $1.20 cup of ice cream. Hehehe. I'm weird but, being unique feels great aint it. ;)
Tuesday, i went for a lecture at Raffles Institution with Sai as they invited each secondary school's council head and the deputy head. So morning we need not report to school as we've to reach the venue by 810. So, We both intended to eat brekkie at Tiong's mac before heading there. As usual, i reached there 5 minutes later while he reaches half an hour later. Gosh, and he's always uncontactable. If he replies, he'll be like oh he's taking a shower, and i'll reply him by saying 'Are you laying eggs?' 'Nope laid, warming my eggs' will always be his reply. HAHA, our inside jokes. Okay so after we ate, we took a cab there as we doesnt know the way and as lazy as we can get yknow ;))) We reached there early and it was so majestic i swear. The secondary school was still having their national athem, and as we know RI is a all-boys school. When i walked past them, all of them looked at me like as if i'm a criminal or something.. Geez. But when we reached the receptions, the prefects which is another word for councillors told us that we could go for a school tour while waiting, so why not right? ;)
Their JC and their high-school was the same so there was boarding school too which had that romantic feel. I went to HwaChong institution before too, both of the schools were the top schools in singapore, i felt prestigious and honoured to be able to look around both schools HAHA. After it was the talk about peru.. boring... After that we interacted with the other school's heads and deputy heads. There were some schools like Crescent and Queensway whom we already know from the S2 cluster that we had last year.
Here are some of the heads and deputy heads of different schools hehe.
Queensway - Jaye and Hasena.
Crescent - Thida (yes! she's a burmese) and Christine
GESS - Brandon and Naz
Outram - Anne and Amirah (my primary school friend!)
Anglo Chinese (ACS) - Jared and Samuel
BishanPark - Syafiqah, Eylia and theres one more girl!
There were other schools but these were some schools whom we interacted with!
So we learnt about how each school's councils works and how they were different from our council. Personally, i was impressed by Thida. She was so friendly. Same goes for Brandon, Naz, Anne we went back to school together as we were nearby.
